Order NowThere is a power difference between small and large fuel injection engines, inexpensive and high dollar cylinder heads, mild and radical cams, and many other parts. However, the engine will not run well with any of these unless the fuel injection is set up properly. This book tells about setups used by successful race engine tuners to reach that goal.
Information is the key to performance. With that in mind, this book provides knowledge about mechanical fuel injection for a more powerful and reliable performance.
Mechanical fuel injection is the preferred choice in many drag racing applications, other forms of auto, boat racing, as well as custom auto and boat shows. The drag race blown alcohol application is highlighted as an example although much of the information is applicable to other auto and boating sports.

The blown alcohol V-8 combination probably makes the highest level of horsepower per dollar over any other high output racing combinations. It is because of this that it is emphasized throughout the book. Power levels over 1,000 HP are easily attainable with blown alcohol. Fuel injection is the power controlling choice for this combination. While many applications involve lower power level V-8’s, the same principles apply to them as well as other engine designs and sizes: circle track, road racing, go carts, tractor pullers, nostalgia, custom show vehicles, prostreet, and others.
Many racers are not sponsored and are operating on small budgets. This book discusses the successes that I and many others have had on a tight budget over years of tuning racecars. It is all about solutions to the common problems in racing that should contain simple answers, and do, They just aren’t so common to come by.
This book is not about all of the ideal and expensive, latest fuel injection components that put you right up there with the pro’s and land your wallet empty.
While many drool over this previous combination, few are in that league. The rest of us compete and enjoy our lower cost FI setups every bit as much as the pros.
You will find controversial topics in this fuel injection book such as system air purging methods and air-to-fuel ratio selection.
In this book I will share with you winning information I wish someone had shared with me before I paid for the answers (in both money, time, and effort) with broken parts. My successes in fuel injection were only a result of years of learning, testing, and competition. Now it has all been written about in a concise source for the racer, show participant, and the street or harbor pro, all with passions for fuel injection on the pavement or boating performance.
The fuel injection systems discussed in this book are suited to many engine size and cylinder combinations. From hemi to flat heads, drag racing to go karts to boats, etc.
Photos of many applications are provided: injected, throttle body, blown and injected, show cars, drag cars, exhibition vehicles, and others.
